In 1965, the Cathedral became the co-cathedral of the Diocese of Veroli-Frosinone. Later, in 1987, it was elevated to the status of the Cathedral of the Diocese of Frosinone-Veroli-Ferentino.
The interior of the Cathedral is equally impressive, featuring three naves separated by pillars with Corinthian pilasters. Among the surviving artworks is a painting from 1641 by Sementi, a disciple of Guido Reni, depicting the Madonna with Saint Anne, Saint John the Baptist, and angels. This circular painting is a testament to the Cathedral's rich artistic heritage.
The Cathedral also houses contemporary artworks by renowned artists such as Gisberto Ceracchini, Domenico Purificato, Eliano Fantuzzi, Giovanni Colacicchi, Luigi Montanarini, and Manlio Sarra.
