After its secularization in 1802, the Kornmarktkirche served various purposes, from a city weigh house to a grain storage facility. By the late 19th century, it housed offices and apartments. However, the church found a new lease on life in the 1970s when it was transformed into a museum. Today, the Bauernkriegsmuseum provides a vivid account of the Reformation and the Peasants' War, offering visitors an engaging historical narrative through its exhibits and special events.
