The old church was dismantled in March 1910, and the foundation stone for the new St. Martin's was laid on October 16 of that year. The church celebrated its topping-out ceremony on January 2, 1912, with the consecration following on May 24, 1914. The Romanesque tower was elevated to an impressive 69 meters during this period, contributing to the church's commanding presence.

St. Martin's Church is a masterpiece of Neo-Gothic architecture, characterized by its soaring spires and intricate stonework. The church measures 51 meters in length, 24 meters in width, and 17 meters in height, featuring a central nave flanked by two side aisles.
